Meal kits sold at Sam’s Club nationwide have been recalled because they contain cucumbers in a sauce that could be contaminated with salmonella.

The Food and Drug Administration said the Beef & Lamb Gyro Sandwich Express Meal Kits have a use-by date of between 12/24/2024 and 1/6/2025.

The tzatziki sauce in the kit was made with cucumbers from Baloian Farms, which had initiated a recall because of the potential salmonella contamination.

If you have the gyro kits you are told not to use them or any parts of the kits. If you are not sure if your kit was recalled, you should discard it. You can also visit Sam’s Club for a refund.

The company that produced the kits, Fresh Creative Foods, is not using cucumbers from Baloian any longer, the FDA said.

If you have any questions, contact Fresh Creative Foods at 888-223-2127, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. PT.
